Sheela Ramanath and fellow dancers will present Indian Classical dance Bharatanatyam (buh-ruh-tuh-naat-yum) for the Monday Night Series at the HH Gallery, National theatre, Washington DC. The recital will precede a brief demonstration of the dance by the artists to help the audience appreciate the art form better. Flamboyant costumes, complex rhythmic and kaleidoscopic formations are the highlight of the performance. Admission is FREE.
