Creative Cauldron is pleased to bring back this wonderful and unique festival, "Passport to the World." The series will highlight regions from around the globe for eight weeks, with 21 different unique and traditional performances from our world's vast array of cultures. Moch Pryderi (Tickets $15) Moch Pyrderi (Welsh for "Pryderi's Pigs) is a six piece Welsh-American band from Fredericksburg, VA. Their music is firmly rooted in the traditional Brythonic-Celtic music of Wales and Brittany, occasionally interwoven with traditional music from Ireland, Scotland, Turkey, and the American-Appalachians. Moch Pyrderi's instrumentation includes the rare Welsh triple harp, Welsh pibgorns and Welsh bagpipes as well as highland pipes, fiddle, Breton bombarde, bousouki, flutes, whistles and percussion. Moch Pryderi's vocal abilities create a diversified pallet for Moch's distinctive and haunting sound. For more event details view our website at creativecauldron.org |
